These funds will be utilized in order to further my education at the university level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Receiving this scholarship means a great deal to me as college is a costly expense. I would like to thank The Law Offices of Kogan and DiSalvo for selecting me as this year&#8217;s recipient of their scholarship award<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2021_Scholarship_Recipient_Kyle_Ramos\"><\/span>2021 Scholarship Recipient: Kyle Ramos<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-medium\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"258\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kogan-disalvo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Kyle-Ramos-882x1024-1-258x300.jpg\" alt=\"Kyle Ramos\" class=\"wp-image-4826\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>I am extremely honored to be a recipient of the 2021 Kogan &amp; DiSalvo Scholarship! I look forward to using this money to help pay for my tuition to Yale University, where I have been accepted as an Ethics, Politics, and Economics major. After earning my undergraduate degree from Yale, my current plan is to attend law school, attain my Juris Doctorate, and become a Judge Advocate General for the United States Navy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you so much to Kogan &amp; DiSalvo not only for the scholarship, but for the educational application process that was required. I greatly enjoyed learning about the civil jury trial process, and how law offices such as Kogan &amp; DiSalvo continue to protect the rights of American Citizens. Receiving this scholarship during such hard times as The COVID 19 pandemic is a prayer answered from GOD. These funds will be utilized at Florida International University as I continue my education into graduate school. Once again THANK YOU Kogan &amp; DiSalvo for this remarkable opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2019_Scholarship_Recipient_Anneke_Sara_Craig\"><\/span>2019 Scholarship Recipient: Anneke Sara Craig<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"279\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kogan-disalvo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/pasted-image-0-300x279.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2711\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Anneke is a sophomore at Mount Holyoke College <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">majoring in Critical Social Thought with a Nexus in Law, Human Rights, and Public Policy and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a minor in Spanish. Her internship experiences with Voices for Virginia\u2019s Children, Projects <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Abroad\u2019s Human Rights Program in C\u00f3rdoba, Argentina, and the Boston Area Gleaners have <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">inspired her passion for public policy research, analysis, and advocacy. After graduation, she <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">intends to seek out a career in state or federal policy work. In her spare time, Anneke fences <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">competitively for the Mount Holyoke College Fencing Team, hikes in state and national parks, paints, and explores New England with her friends.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reaction Statement: \u201cI am so thrilled and grateful to be the recipient of the Kogan &amp; DiSalvo Justice in the Law Scholarship! The process of researching and writing my essay, which addresses the challenges that environmental advocates must face as they engage in civil procedure, was thought-provoking and fulfilling.
