In addition, there were also <strong>26 deaths for every 1,000 patients that used the drug<\/strong>, higher than the 22 deaths for every 1,000 patients who died after taking Allopurinol, Uloric\u2019s competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These issues indicating Takeda\u2019s negligence in the sale of this drug are the basis of many of the lawsuits that have been filed.
